Material information:

• PP – Polypropylene: Polypropylene (PP), is a thermoplastic material widely used in many sectors due to its excellent properties. Although it is lightweight, it has high impact resistance, making it suitable for applications that require resistance to shocks and abrasions. It maintains its properties even under the influence of moisture, making it suitable for applications in environments with high humidity.

• Metal: Metal is widely used in furniture construction, offering a number of advantages over other materials. It is extremely resistant to wear and tear, ideal for furniture intended for daily use in a demanding environment. It maintains its shape and structure perfectly, ensuring stability and longevity in furniture. In addition to the properties mentioned above, metal can also have other characteristics, such as antimicrobial action (copper) or superconductivity (molybdenum).

• Pu – Faux leather / leatherette (Upholstery): PU is imitation leather and usually refers to the polymer polyurethane (Polyurethane), a material that is widely used in many sectors due to its excellent properties. It has satisfactory strength, is easy to clean, is waterproof, does not deform and is environmentally friendly. 

Maintenance instructions:

• PP polypropylene: For daily cleaning of polypropylene, use a soft cloth or sponge, lightly dampened with mild detergent and warm water. Spread the cloth over the surface and clean by applying light pressure.

• Metal: For any indoor metal, dusting or wiping with a damp cloth at regular intervals is the way to go.  However, for outdoor metal furniture, you should follow these steps: 
  1. For longer-lasting protection, treat your metal furniture with a protective cream that you can easily obtain from commercial stores.
  2. If your furniture is treated and painted using the powder-coating method (electrostatic painting), then it is very durable and easy to clean with a damp cloth.
  3. If your metal furniture is not electrostatically painted, then you should take extra care of it and keep it away from water and moisture. You can cover it with special covers and, if possible, bring it indoors during the winter.
  4. If you notice rust, remove it with turpentine and then apply anti-rust varnish before painting the surface with rust-resistant paint.
• PU leatherette: Use a soft cloth to remove any dust from the surface. For stains, use lukewarm water and mild soap and wipe the area. Always dry the surface afterwards with a dry cloth to avoid water marks.
